PREPERATION WORKSHEET FOR FLEA TREATMENT

____    Vacuum all floor space.
____    Vacuum upholstered furniture.
____    Purchase a flea collar, cut it in half and place one half into vacuum
            cleaner. Empty vacuum contents again three weeks later and use second half
            of flea collar into vacuum cleaner. After another three weeks empty vacuum
            contents for the last time and replace with a fresh bag.
____    Clean wood/tile floors. For the next six weeks we ask you to use a mild cleaner
            like a swifter to clean your floors so that you don’t weaken our products.
____    Remove all miscellaneous items from floor of closets, under beds and in all rooms
            of house. Items may be placed on bed – cover with sheets.
____    Wash or dispose of pet bedding.
____    Cover or put away all exposed food, dishes, coffee pots, toasters and
            miscellaneous items on kitchen counter and bathrooms.
____    Cover infant bed with sheet.
____    Cover or put away all children & pet toys.
____    Clean & clear floor under upholstered furniture.
____    Cover fish tank and fish supplies. Unplug pumps.
____    All people & pets out of house for 4 hours.
____    Your service technician will do a walk thru prior to your service
            to determine if you have complied with necessary preparation for this flea
            treatment. Your warrantee will depend on your compliance.
____    If you are given a warrantee, your warrantee will begin six weeks after treatment
            and will end two months later.
____    It is normal to see some adult fleas in treated areas after service when brought in
            on infested animals or when adults emerge from pupal cases, however a
            population will not develop in treated areas.
